Privacy
Phasmopedia is a fan site made by Niuby. It does not ask you to sign up or to leave any data, and it sets no cookies of its own. Here is what does happen when you visit.
Visit statistics
To know how many visits the site gets we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and cannot be used to identify you or to follow you across other sites. It only counts general data: which pages are viewed, from which country, with which browser and which site you came from.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and your browser’s technical details in order to show you the pages and protect the site against attacks. More details in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
What is stored in your browser
The settings on the Footsteps page (ghost speed, Blood Moon and volume) and the language you choose with the language button are saved in your own browser so you don’t have to pick them every time. They are not sent anywhere and are deleted if you clear the site’s data.
YouTube videos
The guides use the YouTube player in its privacy-enhanced mode. When you open that page, your browser connects to YouTube to load the player; when you press play, YouTube may store cookies and receive playback data, according to Google’s privacy policy.
Links to other sites
The site links to YouTube, Twitch and the Phasmophobia Wiki on Fandom. What happens on those sites depends on their own policies.
Advertising
Phasmopedia does not show ads today. If it ever does, this page will be updated beforehand to explain which service is used and what data it handles, and your consent will be requested wherever the law requires it.
