13 Willow Street

A modern single-story house with a finished basement. It’s one of the smallest maps, only slightly bigger than Tanglewood, but its rooms are wide and open, so investigations are usually quick.

A schematic plan, without doors or windows: each shape is a room as the game counts it (the Ouija Board, Ghost Orbs and the ghost room use these boundaries). The fuse box spawns in one of the marked spots.

Misleading rooms

The game splits some rooms differently from how they look. It matters for the Ouija Board, Ghost Orbs and the ghost room.

  • The Gym includes its bathroom and the short corridor with the fuse box that connects it to the Kitchen.
  • From the Hallway and the Basement Utility the ghost can make a short roam to another floor.

From Intermediate up, a 3-player game gets 1 more and a 4-player game, 2 more.

  • There are no closets, lockers or handy side rooms: almost every hiding spot is behind furniture, so it pays to learn them. On Nightmare and Insanity only one is available (plus one or two with 3 or 4 players).

Where to loop the ghost

  • You can loop the ghost around the dining table or the couch in the Living Room.

Where each cursed possession spawns when the contract has one.

  • Haunted Mirror

In the Gym, on the wall between the main room and its bathroom.

  • Music Box

In a bookcase in the Living Room.

  • Ouija Board

In the Basement Living Room, on a cabinet next to the Basement Utility door.

  • Summoning Circle

    In the Kitchen.

  • Tarot Cards

In the Basement Bar, on the end table between the two armchairs.

  • Voodoo Doll

On the cat cave in a corner of the Master Bedroom.

  • Monkey Paw

In a bookcase in the Studio.

Tips

  • It’s a dangerous map during hunts: there’s hardly anywhere to shut yourself in, so find the furniture you can hide behind and the spots where you can loop the ghost ahead of time.
  • Bone: They spawn randomly anywhere the ghost can walk.

Trivia

  • There are lots of cat-related props around the house: they’re a tribute to cjdxn’s cat, who passed away before update 0.7.0 came out.
  • According to the loading screen, the house is newly built, but it sits on top of something unearthly.
