Grafton Farmhouse

An abandoned, half-ruined three-story farmhouse: a roomy first floor, a smaller second floor and an attic. It’s one of the two farmhouse variants, along with Bleasdale.

A schematic plan, without doors or windows: each shape is a room as the game counts it (the Ouija Board, Ghost Orbs and the ghost room use these boundaries). The fuse box spawns in one of the marked spots.

Misleading rooms

The game splits some rooms differently from how they look. It matters for the Ouija Board, Ghost Orbs and the ghost room.

  • On the second floor, to the left of the Master Bathroom door, there’s a door that seems to lead to a big room, but it’s jammed: that room isn’t used.
  • The Dining Room wraps around in an L up to the Downstairs Bathroom door.
  • The Upstairs Hallway wraps around the stairwell and reaches the attic stairs.
  • From the Attic the ghost can make a short roam to another floor.

Where to loop the ghost

  • You can loop the ghost around the kitchen island, the piano in the Living Room or the dining table, among other places.

  • Haunted Mirror

    In the Master Bedroom.

  • Music Box

    In the Twin Bedroom.

  • Ouija Board

    In the Attic.

  • Summoning Circle

    In the Child Bedroom.

Tips

  • The Foyer’s main light is broken and flickers. Turn on the lantern on the boxes near the stairs to see much better.
  • The Foyer and the Attic are dim rooms: even with all their lights on, you lose sanity there at 80% of the dark-room rate.
  • The fuse box only warms up the Downstairs Bathroom, Work Room, Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom and Child Bedroom. The other rooms stay at the weather’s ambient temperature.
  • The ghost can change the pose of the mannequins in the Work Room and the pullstring dolls in the Child Bedroom and teleport them around the house; it can also make the dolls talk.
  • Bone: They spawn randomly anywhere the ghost can walk.

Trivia

  • It shares the farmhouse theme with Bleasdale Farmhouse.
  • During the Alan Wake event it turned into “Cauldron Lake.”
